PROPERTY UPDATE
At a recent Special Church Council Meeting it was agreed that we should go ahead with exploring the repair of the flat roof area over the hall 
It is clear that the present roof is now deteriorating quickly and that action needs to be taken by the end of this summer.
A quotation has been obtained from Marc Robins who did such a superb job for us - repairing and re-plastering the inside and outside of the church.
He has estimated that the work will cost in the region of £6,000  taking into account that until the roof is stripped off it will not be known what the extend of the damage to the wooden ceiling will be known.
We have asked Marc to go ahead with the work and we will need to make a special appeal to the church for financial gifts and to approach the Circuit and District for Grants.

There are one or two other repair matters which will need to be addressed at the same time as the roof is done.
