PROPERTY UPDATE
At a recent Special Church Council Meeting it was agreed that we should go ahead with exploring the repair of the flat roof area over the hall 
It is clear that the present roof is now deteriorating quickly and that action needs to be taken by the end of this summer.
A quotation has been obtained from Marc Robins who did such a superb job for us - repairing and re-plastering the inside and outside of the church.
He has estimated that the work will cost in the region of £6,000  taking into account that until the roof is stripped off it will not be known what the extend of the damage to the wooden ceiling will be known.
MARC HAS COMPLETED THE WORK ON THE ROOF 
And there are still a few more jobs to be completed. We do thank him for working through the Heat Wave to get the roof worked completed in time for th "Posh Tea"
Thanks to YOUR GENEROUSITY on Gift Day ( OVER £2,400 RAISED) and with the  Grant from the Circuit  we have been able to pay for the work and some of the extra jobs that needed doing.
